  • Hi Cindy,

For the itinerary you listed, a pass would definitely be the way to go. The Eurail Spain pass is a paper pass. The Renfe Spain Pass is an electronic pass. Both will require reservations to be made on the trains, however the Renfe Spain pass does not require additional charges for these reservations. You can purchase either pass online at http://www.raileurope.com.

If you choose to purchase the electronic Renfe Spain Pass, an email will be sent to you requesting the train details to be booked.

If you choose to purchase the paper Eurail Spain Pass, reservations can be made on the homepage http://www.raileurope.com by selecting "Book your Rail Pass Reservations" on the search engine.
