Specific Coverages with Swiss Flexi Pass

I am contemplating buying a Swiss Flexi Pass. We will be in Switzerland five days. I need to understand what is covered.

Are the trains from Tirano to Zurich covered?

Are the trains from Zurich to Lauterbrunnen covered?

Is there a list of mountain trains in the Berner Oberland area that are discounted 50%? 25%?

Is the train from Lauterbrunnen (I believe through Basel) to Paris, France covered? I will probably buy a France Pass, also.

Is the "fast" train from Paris to Tours covered by the France Pass? The train from Caen back to Paris?

Are there any discounts on the Chunnel Train?

Thank You,

Bill Kijek

  • The trains from Tirano to Zurich and from Zurich to Lauterbrunnen are covered with the Swiss Pass.

A complete list of the Berner Oberland train discounts will be included in the traveler guide included with the pass.

If you also purchase a France Rail pass, the complete journey from Lauterbrunnen to Paris will be covered. Please note that a day will be used on both passes.

The France pass does cover the TGV trains within France. The only supplement would be the seat reservations, which can be purchased prior to your departure. This pass also allows for a Passholder rate on the Eurostar train.
