Swiss Pass for Zurich to Lucerne (and Mt Pilatus), Lucerne to Interlaken (and Jungfraujoch), Interlaken back to Zurich?

I have listed below the train rides we (4 adult travellers) expect to take when travelling to switzerland:
Zurich to Lucerne
Lucerne to Mt. Pilatus
Lucerne to Interlaken
Interlaken to "Top of Europe"
Interlaken to Zurich

My questions are: 1) Does it make sense to get the Swiss Pass for this travel itinerary
2) If we do get the Swiss Pass, will it cover all the trains required for this travel itinerary.

Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

A Swiss Pass would cover the ticket costs for your trains from Zurich to Lucerne, Lucerne to Interlaken and trains comprising of a connection from Interlaken back to Zurich. You can purchase the Swiss Pass by clicking here:
    http://www.raileurope.com/rail-ticket....

These trains do not accept reservations, so the Swiss Pass is all you would need to board. For planning puroses, you can just view the schedules for such routes by entering the requested city-pairs under 'Check Fares and Schedules' on the homepage of our website and clicking the option to 'Check Schedules'.

In regards to your trek up Mount Pilatus from Lucerne, the Swiss Pass does cover the steamer from Lucerne to Alpnachstad, where you would then take the cog railway up the mountain. You would then take a cable car down to Kriens. Once you have descended by cable car back down to Kriens, you would then use your Swiss Pass to board a bus back to Lucerne. To be covered on the cog from Alpnachstad up the mountain and the cable car down to Kriens, you would still have to purchase the 'Mount Pilatus' pass. You can purchase this pass by clicking on the following link:
    http://www.raileurope.com/activities/....

Generally, you would then just have to be sure to select the 'Alpnachstad or Kriens-Mt Pilatus/Swiss Pass' option for this pass, but there is currently an error on website displaying options for an entirely different pass. Instead of 'Alpnachstad or Kriens-Mt Pilatus', our website is currently displaying opions reading 'Murren-Schilthorn' which is for an entirely different pass altogether. Therefore, to purchase your Mount Pilatus pass, you would have to call us at 1-800-622-8600. We hope to have this fixed as soon as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience.

For your trek up to Jungfraujoch from Interlaken, you would purchase the 'Jungfraujoch Top of Europe' pass for Swiss Pass holders. You would purchase this pass by clicking here:
    http://www.raileurope.com/activities/....

Since you would be traveling with a Swiss Pass, you would purchase the 'Grindelwald or Wengen-Jungfraujoch/Swiss Pass' option of the Jungfraujoch Top of Europe pass.
