Switzerland Vacation from Nov 17-24

Hi,

We are a group of 3 maybe 4 wo will be arriving on Nov 17th. Our likely itinerary would be Zurich, Lucerne, Interlaken, Bern and Lake Geneva, then back to Zurich Airport on Nov 24th.

I have several questions. What is the best option for us? Do we buy the Swiss travel pass for 8 days or buy the half price tickets? What is Nov like for tourists? and what hotels can you recommend if thats not too much to ask on this forum.

Maybe staying 3 nights in Lucern, 3 nights in Interlaken or Bern and 1 night in Geneva. or we just stay in Bern and do a day trip to Lake Geneva.

thank you very much

    Hi Mylyn,

For that much travel in Switzerland, I would recommend getting the Swiss Travel Pass. For the Swiss Travel Pass, you would click here: https://www.raileurope.com/pass/swiss-pass-5934.

The Swiss Travel Pass covers trains running 'inter-city' between different cities in Switzerland. While the main objective of a rail pass is to cover train travel, the Swiss Travel Pass is unique in that it covers more than just rail travel. The Swiss Travel Pass is unique from other rail passes in that it also covers boats, city buses, and city transit networks in Switzerland. The Swiss Travel Pass will also provide for the best possible discounts on mountain railways (including cable cars and funiculars) and allows for entry to over 490 museums around Switzerland.

I'm sorry, as we do not have any information on hotels.
