Switzerland and italy in 12 days..is it possible??

Hi I need some urgent help. I will be travelling with my almost 3 yr old son and hubby from Australia for 2 weeks trip to Italy in first week of September. We are very much eager and greedy to include beautiful Switzerland in this trip. Yes trying to fit this in 12 day trip. We are thing 3 days in Switzerland, 2 days in Venice, 2 days in Florence and 2 days in Tuscany and 3 days in Rome. We are intending to travel by train.
Here is where I am confused and bit cautious as this will be a our very first trip with our little boy:)
We are arriving in Milan adn plan to stay one day in milan and go to Tirano switzerland via Milan. from tirano planning to take Bernia express and stay at St Moritz- planning to leave swiss on 3rd night straight to Venice.
Here we plan to stay for 2 nights and travel via train to Florence- here planning to do day tor to Pisa and arounds of Florence...then go to Tuscany and stay there for 2 days and then go to rome and stay for 3 days and 4th dau flight out of Italy.

can anyone advise if its possible with young kid:(( much appreciated.

    Hi Ella,

Children under the age of 4 can travel for free in the lap of an adult passenger.

If you have a child under the age of 4, but you would like for them to have a seat of their own, you would purchase a ticket or pass at the child rate for them by classifying them as a child when you place your order for the item being purchased.

This messageboard is for the United States-based seller of European tickets and passes for North American countries. We are generally not able to sell to residents of countries outside of North America, due to local restrictions. Residents of countries outside of North America would have to book through an affiliated agent in their own country. If you are from Australia, you would have to book through an agent there. The website you would refer to is http://www.raileurope.com.au/ .
