Is the Le Frecce high-speed train from Rome to Venice covered with a Eurail Select Pass for Italy & France?

If I purchase a Select Pass for Eurail (Italy and France), is the high speed LaFrecce from Rome to Venice covered with the exception of reservation fees?

    Hi Belinda,

Yes, that's exactly right. Any rail pass that includes Italy does cover the 'Le Frecce' trains in Italy, and these trains do require reservations in addition to the pass. The 'Le Frecce' are 'Frecciarossa', 'Frecciargento', and 'Frecciabianca' trains.

For travel with a pass, you would purchase reservations by clicking on 'Book your Rail Pass Reservations' on our homepage (www.raileurope.com), entering a route, and indicating the type of pass you'll be traveling with (i.e. the 'Eurail Two Country Select Pass' for France and Italy). 'Frecciargento' and 'Frecciarossa' are the 'Le Frecce' trains between Rome and Venice.

Generally, trains in Italy can be booked once within 90 days of an intended date of departure.
