I’m wondering

Coming from Bruges, how early should I arrive to the Amsterdam Schipol Airport to catch my flight? Timid about timing!

Humbly requesting advice regarding rail transportation from Bruges to Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam. My understanding is that I get one train from Bruges to Brussels and a second train from Brussels to Schiphol Airport. The train is scheduled to arrive at the airport at 1:24 p.m. and my flight is scheduled to depart for Boston, Mass., USA, at 2:55 p.m. Will that give a a pre-ticketed international passenger enough time to get from the airport train station to board the plane? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Yes, a connection from Bruges to Amsterdam Schipol Airport does involve changing trains at least once in Brussels along the way. You would purchase tickets and check schedules for this route by clicking on 'Find Fares & Schedules' on the homepage of our website, www.raileurope.com. When doing your search, you would just type 'Amsterdam Airport' for the Schipol Airport for it to be recognized by our site.

The rail station at the Amsterdam Schipol Airport is centrally located to all terminals, so you wouldn't have too far of a walk to get to your gate. I would recommend allowing a time that is comparable to the amount of time it would take you to get to your gate at a typical major U.S. airport.
