Change in reply by Jeff to Thank you for your question, Rehana. A rail connection from Tirano to <a href="http://www.raileurope.com/europe-travel-guide/england/london/index.html" rel="nofollow">London</a> would take about 14.5 hours in duration and involves 6 train changes along the way; once in Pontresina, once in Samedan, once in Chur, once in <a href="http://www.raileurope.com/europe-travel-guide/switzerland/basel/index.html" rel="nofollow">Basel</a>, once in <a href="http://www.raileurope.com/europe-travel-guide/france/strasbourg/index.html" rel="nofollow">Strasbourg</a>, and then once in <a href="http://www.raileurope.com/europe-travel-guide/france/paris/index.html" rel="nofollow" title="Link: http://www.raileurope.com/europe-travel-guide/france/paris/index.html">Paris</a>. You would check schedules and purchase tickets by clicking on 'Find Fares &amp; Schedules' on <a href="http://www.raileurope.com/index.html" rel="nofollow">our homepage</a> and entering the route. For this route, you would just have to piece together the connection by doing a separate search for each segment. Therefore, you would do one search for trains from <a href="http://www.raileurope.com/popular-routes/tirano-to-pontresina.html" rel="nofollow" title="Link: http://www.raileurope.com/popular-routes/tirano-to-pontresina.html">Tirano to Pontresina</a>, another search for connecting trains from <a href="http://www.raileurope.com/popular-routes/pontresina-to-samedan.html" rel="nofollow" title="Link: http://www.raileurope.com/popular-routes/pontresina-to-samedan.html">Pontresina to Samedan</a>, another search for connecting trains from <a href="http://www.raileurope.com/popular-routes/samedan-to-chur.html" rel="nofollow">Samedan to Chur</a>, another search for connecting trains from <a href="http://www.raileurope.com/popular-routes/chur-to-basel.html" rel="nofollow" title="Link: http://www.raileurope.com/popular-routes/chur-to-basel.html">Chur to Basel</a>, another search for connecting trains from <a href="http://www.raileurope.com/popular-routes/basel-to-strasbourg.html" rel="nofollow" title="Link: http://www.raileurope.com/popular-routes/basel-to-strasbourg.html">Basel to Strasbourg</a>, another search for connecting trains from <a href="http://www.raileurope.com/popular-routes/strasbourg-to-paris.html" rel="nofollow" title="Link: http://www.raileurope.com/popular-routes/strasbourg-to-paris.html">Strasbourg to Paris</a>, and another search for connecting trains from <a href="http://www.raileurope.com/popular-routes/paris-to-london.html" rel="nofollow">Paris to London</a>. Otherwise, you could take M5 of the Paris Métro between these stations. The ride on the Métro from <a href="http://www.raileurope.com/europe-travel-guide/france/paris/train-station/est-train-station.html" rel="nofollow" title="Link: http://www.raileurope.com/europe-travel-guide/france/paris/train-station/est-train-station.html">Est</a> to <a href="http://www.raileurope.com/europe-travel-guide/france/paris/train-station/nord-train-station.html" rel="nofollow">Nord</a> only takes about 2 minutes. You would pay to board the Métro locally before boarding..
