I’m Frustrated

Train Cancelled from Zagreb to Budapest due to Border Closing

We purchased tickets from Zagreb to Budapest on November 6, 2015 for December 10, 2015. We arrived at the train station in Zagreb a day earlier to figure out the departure details. But we were told the border has been closed for 3 months for trains into Hungary due to the migrant situation.

What do we need to do to be compensated (these were non flexible tickets and we paid $18 cdn per ticket for shipping)?

    We're sorry if you were not able to use a ticket that you purchased from us. You can request a refund by sending it via traceable mail to the following address:

    Please also include a letter explaining the situation. Before you send the ticket back, I would recommend requesting that an attendant at the station stamp it as "not used".
