Change in reply by Jeff to Hi Michele. Most connections from La Spezia to Florence involve changing trains once in Pisa along the way. These connections do run all throughout the day; however, the trains from Pisa to Florence are regional trains, which are not able to be booked yet for dates beyond June 13th. There also some direct, regional trains from La Spezia to Florence not yet able to be booked for dates beyond June 13th. Generally, regional trains in Italy (trains labeled 'Regionale' or 'Regionale Veloce') are able to be booked within 60 days of an intended date of departure. However, this is the time of year when the annual 'Summer Schedule Changes' occur with some of the rail networks in Europe (including the national rail network of Italy). As a result of the Summer Schedule Changes, many trains operating after June 13th have not yet been updated into the international booking system, including regional trains on the route between La Spezia and Florence. In the meantime, you can just enter a date some time prior to June 13th to get an idea of the ticket costs and view schedules when searching this route on our site. We expect the schedules for trains operating after June 13th to be released some time by late-May at the latest, at which point you would be able to purchase the tickets. To see when they'll be able to be booked, I would just recommend checking the routes on our website periodically. Currently, only the direct 'Frecciabianca' train from La Spezia to Florence, and the 'InterCity' trains from La Spezia to Pisa are able to be booked for dates before June 13th..
