Train from Interlaken to Milan - is there a benefit for having a Swiss Pass?

Dear Members: I will be staying in Lauterbrunnen Switzerland for six days in September and then traveling on by train to Milan. My question is if the train from Lauterbrunnen/Interlaken to Milan is not covered by the Swiss Pass, is there a reduction in the full price of the same ticket because of the Swiss Pass. My question is key to whether to buy a Swiss Pass for my trip, because the only other train I will be taking within Switzerland is from Geneva to Lauterbrunnen. I will also take various private mountain runs like the train from Lauterbrunnen to the Jungfraujoch, as well as cable cars, and I know that the Swiss Pass provides discounts for these runs, so I'm not clear on what my best approach is. Any help on this itinerary is appreciated. Gary
