    Hi Zenaida,

For a trip from St Moritz to Innsbruck, one day would be used up off of each pass. Your Swiss Travel Pass would cover you for the segment in Switzerland, and your 2 country Eurail Select Pass (for Austria and Germany) would cover you for the segment in Austria.

A connection from St Moritz to Innsbruck would take just over 5 hours in duration and involves 2 train changes along the way; once in Chur and then once in Sargans. You cross the border into Austria very soon after you leave Sargans.

For planning purposes, you can view schedules by entering the route on our website, www.raileurope.com. For a trip such as this, you would just piece together the connection by doing a separate search for each segment. Therefore, you would do one search for trains from St Moritz to Chur, another search for connecting trains from Chur to Sargans, and another search for connecting trains from Sargans to Innsbruck. Trains from St Moritz to Chur operate along the Albula-Bernina Railway.

Reservations are not necessary, or even possible, on the trains from St Moritz to Chur and Chur to Sargans. Therefore, the Swiss Travel Pass is all you would need to board for these segments.

The trains from Sargans to Innsbruck are Railjet trains on which reservations are recommended. To purchase reservations, you would enter the route on our homepage (www.raileurope.com), but this time you would indicate that you'll be traveling with a rail pass. Just for the purpose of purchasing these reservations, you would indicate that you'll be traveling with a Eurail Global Pass instead of a Swiss Travel Pass or a Eurail Select Pass that includes Austria and Germany. This would just be because those passes by themselves would not cover the full route of a train from Sargans to Innsbruck. For the 'passholder' reservations to be quoted, you would just need to indicate that you'll be traveling with a pass that does cover the full route, like the Eurail Global Pass.
