travel between malaga & barcelona through grenada, cartagena, alacant, valencia

How do I compare the cost of the buying individual train tickets vs eurail pass for 2 months, travelling between Malaga up to Barcelona with 4 stops along the way? It seems like eurail pass may not be cheaper.

  • With the several stops from Malaga to Barcelona, the Eurail Spain pass will be the most cost-effective option. You can find information on the Spain pass online at http://www.raileurope.com/rail-ticket....

  • To complete Tom's response, there is currently no easy way to automatically compare the cost of traveling with a pass and traveling with tickets for Spain. Although it is available for other countries, we are working on adding this feature to support journeys in Spain.
You would have to figure this out manually: look for tickets for each of your trip in Spain using our point to point booking tool http://www.raileurope.com/us/rail/poi..., add each to your cart, and see how much they add up to.
Then, add a Eurail Spain Pass, and look for reservations for each trip in your itinerary using our reservation booking tool: http://www.raileurope.com/us/rail/poi...
Add the cost of the pass and reservation, and compare with the cost of tickets.
Like Tom said, the Pass will most likely be a more cost effective solution.

Again, we're sorry that at this time we do not support pass vs ticket price comparison for Spain, but it is on our road-map.
    Thank you.
