After you've clicked the 'View' button, you would then refer to where it says 'Ticket Flexibility'. Underneath 'Ticket Flexibility', you may see 3 options: 'Non Flexible', 'Semi Flexible', and 'Fully Flexible'. You would click the 'Read More' link next to each of these options until you see a fare titles 'Thalys Passholder 1' or 'Thalys Passholder 2' (whichever you qualify for based on the rail pass you choose, as explained above). Generally, the 'Passholder 1' and 'Passholder 2' rates would be found under the 'Semi Flexible' option. If you see these fares labeled according to what you need, click 'Select' to proceed to add the fare to your 'Itinerary' (shopping cart).

Thalys trains can only be booked within 90 days of an intended date of departure. If your intended travel happens to fall outside of this time frame, you would just enter a more imminent date, some time within the next 90 days, to get an idea of the passholder costs when searching a route on our site in the meantime.

The trains between Brussels and Mons (and the vast majority of trains operating within Belgium) don't accept reservations, so any rail pass that includes the Benelux is all you would need to board. For planning purposes, you can just check schedules for trains between Brussels and Mons by clicking on 'Find Fares & Schedules' on our homepage (instead of 'Book your Rail Pass Reservations') and entering the cities, this time not indicating that you'll be traveling with any type of rail pass when you're prompted..

Changed title to Is there a pass for Belgium, including trips from Paris to Mons & Mons to Cologne?

Change in reply by Jeff to Thank you for your question.

There is no longer a rail pass that can cover only France, Belgium, and Germany. Instead of purchasing a Eurail Select Pass (which is now only offered as a 4 country pass), I would recommend one of the following options:

1.) A Eurail Benelux Pass in combination with a rate called the 'Passholder 2' for tickets on a train from Paris to Brussels (as part of connection from Paris to Mons) and on a train from Brussels to Cologne (as part of a connection from Mons to Cologne). The Eurail Benelux Pass would cover any of your trains within Belgium, including your train from Brussels to Mons (as part of your connection from Paris to Mons) and your train from Mons back to Brussels (as part of your connection from Mons to Cologne).
