Traveling from the US to CDG and then on to Bayeux, arriving 9:30 am, is there a train station at airport? How do I find it?

Just looking for a good connection

    Hi Timm,

The Paris CDG Airport does have a rail station, but there are no trains from there to Bayeux. Instead, the connection to Bayeux would involve going into the city of Paris first. To do so, you would take Line B of the local RER rail network to the Paris Nord station. At Nord, you would walk to the Magenta wing of the station, where you would switch to Line E of the RER network. Line E of the RER will take you to the St. Lazare station, which is where trains to Bayeux depart from. In its entirety, the commute from the CDG Airport to the St. Lazare station would take at least about 70 minutes in duration. RER trains depart once every 7 to 15 minutes throughout the day. You would pay to board the RER trains locally upon arrival.

You would check schedules and purchase tickets for a train from Paris to Bayeux by entering the route on our homepage, www.raileurope.com. Generally, trains in France can be booked once within 90 days of an intended date of departure.

Trains from Paris to Bayeux are Intercités trains.
