What does 10 days within 2 months mean? Does that mean I can only use the pass 10 times and can I use it for more than 2 months?

    Hello,

That refers to a 'flexipass' that allows for 10 days of rail travel to be completed within a time frame of 2 months.

A flexipass allows for a set number of travel days, which must be completed within a time frame of 2 months (or, in some cases, 1 month)

'Travel days' on a flexipass refer to how many separate days you plan on using your rail pass. A rail day is a 24-hour period from midnight to midnight. You may take as many trains as you wish during the 24 hour time frame and still only use one day of travel on a pass. For instance, if you were take a day train from 'city A' to 'city B' and then take a connecting train to 'city C' on the same day, then you would only use up one day of travel on your rail pass. In contrast, if you were to take that connecting train to 'city C' on the next day, then you would use up 2 days of rail travel on your pass.

One important rule to remember is that if you happen to take a night train that departs prior to 7 pm to arrive into the destination the next morning, then 2 days of rail travel will be used up on a rail pass. Most night trains; however, do depart after 7 pm, in which case only 1 day of rail travel would be used up on a rail pass.

  • I’m happy! Excited! And very Thankful!
I am looking for a pass that will cover my husband and myself multiple times in a 1 month period. We have no idea how long we would be gone, and where we are going to go. It will be all impromptu. Just like our wedding day was. Which is how we are celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary! We are very excited and looking forward to it!

      Hi Timmie,

Any rail pass you choose to purchase would depend on the specific cities you intend to visit while you're in Europe. When selecting a rail pass on our website, you would just want to be sure that all of the countries being traveled through are accounted for on the pass you choose. To view our rail passes, you would go to the homepage of our website, click on 'Find & Book Rail Passes' and then select any of the countries you intend to travel in from the drop-down menus that appear under where it says 'Find a Rail Pass'.

If you still need assistance determining your best travel option, then please feel free to call us at 1-800-622-8600. Our current hours are 9:00a-8:30p ET Monday-Friday and 9:00a-5:00p ET Saturday and Sunday.

Congratulations on your anniversary, and have a great trip!
