Traveling together with 2 different Eurail Select Passes & booking reservations for all of us
We are a family of 4 travelling together in Europe. My husband and I leave 2 days earlier than my 2 daughters. Me meet up on day 3. We use 2 different Eurail Select Passes (5 countries 9 days and 4 countries 7 days) Will it be possible to make reservations so that we can all travel together(sit together)?

Hi Trudie,
Yes, even though your daughters will be traveling with a separate pass of their own, you would still be able to make the reservations for all of you within the same request. By booking reservations for all of you within the same order, your seats would be able to be together. The important thing is that all countries being traveled through are included on each of your passes. -

Don't they have to be sure they all have first class passes? Not sure of the daughters ages, and if they could have purchased youth passes.

Yes, in order to be seated together, you would have to book the same class of service. Youth travelers do not have to purchase a Eurail Select Pass at the youth rate. In many instances, families with children that are youth age would just opt to purchase a Eurail Select Pass the pass at the regular adult rate or 'Saver' rate for all travelers to match the class of service. To be eligible to receive the Saver rate, there would just have to be 2 or more passengers traveling together at all times.
