Trying to get a refund

I have a ticket (Rome -> Florence) that was part of a package that I purchased from a third party. The ticket says I can cancel it with a 27% fee, but the company I bought it from will not honor it. Rail Europe says they will not refund either because I did not buy it directly from the web site. What recourse do I have?

    If the ticket was not purchased through Rail Europe, then you would need to return the ticket to the issuing agency for a refund. As I do not show tickets in our system for you, I would recommend contacting your travel agent, or whoever booked the ticket for you, for a refund.
    If it is after travel, then it is possible that the ticket would be nonrefundable. I regret any inconvenience this is causing you and hope that you are able to obtain a refund for your ticket.
