Typo - Accidentally misspelled my first name

Hello there,
I booked two tickets today and accidentally misspelled my first name. Is there a way I can rectify this? Will I have a trouble travelling or will my typo be overlooked?
Would appreciate to hear back from you as I leave for Europe in four days.
Thank you.

    Hi Aloysius,

The spelling of your name would only matter for certain tickets issued as e-tickets (print-at-home or print-at-station tickets) and rail passes. However, we are not able to assist with specific orders through this forum. So that we can look into this and advise you, you would have to call us at 1-800-622-8600 or send an email to customercare@raileurope.com. If you email us, please be sure to include the booking number for your order, as well as your full first and last name. However, please note it can take up to 48 business hours to receive a reply to email correspondence. Therefore, if your departure is soon from now, you would call us instead of emailing. Our current hours are 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM CT Monday to Friday and 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM CT on Saturdays.

  • Hi Jeff,

Thank you for your prompt feedback. Apologies for the delay in acknowledging this as I was already en route.
Everything was smooth and I thoroughly enjoyed my Rail experience around France. Thanks again.

    Regards,
    Aloysius
