I’m frustrated

Unable to purchase tickets

I submit my city to city and It shows on the itinerary but will not show the charges and how to purchase tickets.

    Hi Shirley,

    You would check ticket costs and purchase tickets by clicking on 'Find Fares & Schedules' on our homepage and entering a route, as well as your date of travel and preferred departure time. After entering this information, you would click the 'Search' button to display the results of your search. On the next screen, your options will be displayed with the ticket costs located to the right of the departure and arrival times each train.

    You would refer to the departure time you want to purchase tickets for and click the 'View' button. Once you click 'View', a little box would expand underneath with more details about the fare and the option to click 'Select'. You would add the ticket to your 'Itinerary' (shopping cart) by clicking the 'Select' button.

    Please note, most trains can only be booked within 60 or 90 days of an intended date of departure. If your intended travel happens to fall outside of this time frame, you would just enter an earlier date, some time within the next 60 or 90 days, to get an idea of the ticket costs and view schedules when searching a route.
