    Hi,

Yes; on 'Le Frecce' trains, a 13 year old would count as a child. The child age on these trains is under 15 (14 and under). 'Le Frecce' trains incluce Frecciarossa, Frecciargento, and Frecciabianca trains.

You would purchase tickets from Rome to Rimini by searching the route under 'Find Train Tickets' on our homepage, www.raileurope.com. The connection from Rome to Rimini involves changing trains once in Bologna along the way.

Generally, trains in Italy can be booked once within 120 days of an intended date of departure.
