What are the best tickets for our travels? Geneva Airport-Montreux-Murren & Jungfraujoch-Offenburg

My wife and are arriving at Geneva airport at 1:10 PM 21.06.2012. We want to train to Montreux,,staying three nights then train to Murren on 24.06.2012, stay three nights and visit the Jungfrau via trains one of those days then train from Murren to Offenburg, Germany on 27.06.2012.
Are there any combination/pass that would work best?
We are ages 64 and 65..
Thanks for your help,

    Hi Larry,

For the requested travel, I would recommend purchasing the Eurail Germany-Switzerland Pass. You can purchase this pass by clicking here: http://www.raileurope.com/rail-ticket....

You can purchase this pass at the Saver rate for each of you, as long as you both will be traveling together at all times. Once you enter the number of passengers traveling on the page for the Eurail Germany-Switzerland Pass, you would just click 'Yes' where it says 'Special prices are offered for 2 or more travelers. Is everyone in your party traveling together at all times?', and you would then be quoted the Saver rate.

In regards to your trip to Jungfraujoch, the Eurail Germany-Switzerland Pass would cover you as far as Interlaken. Therefore, to be covered from Interlaken to Jungfraujoch, you would purchase the 'Interlaken-Jungfraujoch/Eurail Pass' option of the 'Jungfraujoch Top of Europe' pass. To purchase this pass, you would click on the following link:
    http://www.raileurope.com/activities/....

You might want to consider doing Jungfraujoch on your way from Montreux to Murren, so you don't have to backtrack to Interlaken.

For planning purposes, you can just view the schedules for these routes by entering the cities under 'Check Fares and Schedules' on the homepage of our website and clicking the option to 'Check Schedules'.

For schedules from the Geneva Airport, you would just type it exactly like that, as 'Geneva Airport'.

Murren is accessed by regional trains from Lauterbrunnen, however, schedules for trains between Lauterbrunnen and Murren are currently not able to be viewed on our website. A connection from Montreux to Murren involves at least 3 train changes along the way; once in Zweisimmen, once in Interlaken and then once in Lauterbrunnen. Since schedules between Lauterbrunnen and Murren are not able to be viewed on our website, you would just view the schedules on our site as far as Lauterbrunnen. Trains between Lauterbrunnen and Murren depart once every 30 minutes and only take 20 minutes in duration.

A connection from Murren to Offenburg involves at least 2 train changes along the way; once in Lauterbrunnen and then once in Interlaken. Once again, since the schedules between Murren and Lauterbrunnen are not able to be viewed on our website, you would start the search in Lauterbrunnen. For this connection, you would also have to break up the search in Interlaken to view the most possible results. Therefore, you would do one search for the part of the connection from Lauterbrunnen to Interlaken and then another search for the part of the connection from Interlaken to Offenburg. We would just recommend that you purchase reservations only for the part of this connection from Interlaken to Offenburg. To make your actual reservations for this segment, you would click on 'Book a Reservation for Your Pass' on the homepage.

None of the other trains comprising of your connections would accept reservations, so the Eurail Germany-Switzerland Pass is all you would need to board.
