Whats the best way to get from Charles de Gaulle to Gare Montparnasse?

I arrive at CdG on a night flight and need to transfer to Gare Montparnasse to catch a train to Brittany. I would live advice on the shortest and easiest transfer please. We will have luggage and also be jet lagged so would like a transfer with minimal walking. Thank you.

    Hi Jane,

The rail station at Paris CDG is located in Terminal 2, and there is an automated tram that will transport you between terminals.

You would commute from Paris CDG to the Paris Montparnasse station by taking Line B of the local RER rail network to the Châtelet–Les Halles station. At Châtelet–Les Halles, you would switch to M4 of the Paris Métro, which you would take to the Montparnasse station, from where the trains to Brittany depart. You would pay to ride the RER and Métro locally when you're there. The connection from the airport to the Montparnasse station would take at least 55 minutes in duration. The RER trains depart every 7 to 15 minutes.

You would purchase tickets for your train from Paris to Brittany by searching the route under 'Find Train Tickets' right on the homepage of our website, www.raileurope.com.

Generally, trains in France can be booked once within 90 days of an intended departure date.

In Brittany, there are stations all over, but the main rail hubs are Rennes and Brest.
