    Hi Art,

Tickets from Helsinki to Jyväskylä can be purchased by searching the route under 'Find Train Tickets' on the homepage of our website, www.raileurope.com. However, our website will only display options from Helsinki to Jyväskylä that involve changing trains once along the way in either Tampere or Pieksämäki. From Helsinki to Jyväskylä, there are also direct trains. If you'd like to purchase tickets for a direct train on this route, you can do so by calling us at 1-800-622-8600. Our current hours are 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM CT Monday to Friday and 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM CT on Saturdays.

From Jyväskylä to Seinäjoki, there are either direct trains or connections that involve changing trains once in Tampere along the way. However, tickets from Jyväskylä to Seinäjoki are only able to be purchased locally, so the schedules are not able to be viewed on our site. If you'd like to inquire about schedules from Jyväskylä to Seinäjoki, you would have to call us.

Another option would be to purchase the Eurail Finland Pass, which would cover the ticket costs for all of these trains. For the Eurail Finland Pass, you would click here: https://www.raileurope.com/rail-ticke....

If you opt to get the rail pass, it would still be necessary to purchase reservations for trains from Helsinki to Jyväskylä, Helsinki to Tampere, Helsinki to Pieksämäki, Jyväskylä to Tampere, and Tampere to Seinäjoki. These trains require reservations as a supplement to a rail pass. The 'passholder' reservations for these trains are not able to be purchased through our website, but you can purchase these reservations by calling us.

Generally, trains in Finland can be booked once within 60 days of an intended departure date.

You can view a map of the rail lines in Finland by clicking here:

On this map, you can use the blue bar in the upper left corner to zoom, and you can use your cursor to move around the country. Sometimes it can help to use Google Map or another detailed map to cross-reference.
