Does the Eurail pass cover trains operated by local countries? (eg. Poland trains – PKP, Czech Republic Trains, Austria, Hungary, Switzerland, Slovakia)

We are planning to visit Austria, Hungary, Switzerland, Czech Republic and Slovakia will EUrail pass allow us to board local intercity trains operated by the countries?

    Hello,

A rail pass covers trains between different cities in the country or countries included on a pass, including 'InterCity' (IC) trains. When selecting a rail pass on our website, you would just want to be sure that all of the countries being traveled through are accounted for on the pass you choose.

Considering the number of countries you plan on visiting, I would recommend that you call us at 1-800-622-8600 to determine your most economical option, as there would be many different possibilities.
